2012 Hyundai Veloster EcoShift DCT Track Test Video

The Hyundai Veloster implies velocity with its name, but thus far has failed to deliver. To find out what the Veloster can do with its optional dual-clutch automated manual transmission, we brought it to the Edmunds.com test track to generate performance numbers. Acceleration was tested with 0-60 and quarter-mile tests, while braking was calculated using 60-0. Handling tests included a timed slalom and two trips around a skid pad to generate a lateral acceleration calculation.
