Porsche has always been known for producing fast two-door cars. When the Panamera was revealed, people everywhere were confused, but now they are rejoicing. With quick performance and decent fuel economy, can this sedan disprove the "You can't have your cake and eat it, too" cliché? To find out about one part of that equation, we brought the 2011 Porsche Panamera V6 to the Edmunds test track. Acceleration was tested with 0-60 and quarter-mile tests, while braking was calculated using 60-0. Handling tests included a timed slalom and two trips around a skid pad to generate a lateral acceleration calculation.
