The Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible allows you to ride with your hair blowing in the wind, and its V8-powered exhaust bellowing in your ears. But do you give up any performance by removing the roof? To find out we took the GT Convertible to the Edmunds test track. Acceleration was tested with 0-60 and quarter-mile tests, while braking was calculated using 60-0. Handling tests included a timed slalom and two trips around a skid pad to generate a lateral acceleration calculation.
