The 2011 Dodge Charger has a long list of improvements over the past model year, including freshened styling, higher-quality interior materials, and an all-new and more powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine. But how does it compare to the ultimate Charger, the General Lee? To find out, we brought them both to the Edmunds test track. Acceleration was tested with 0-60 and quarter-mile tests, while braking was calculated using 60-0. Handling tests included a timed slalom and two trips around a skid pad to generate a lateral acceleration calculation.
