SEOUL, South Korea — The SsangYong LIV-1 Concept, a large premium SUV from the Korean automaker, will debut in late March at the 2013 Seoul Auto Show.

LIV-1 is short for "Limitless Interface Vehicle," the automaker said.

The SUV is based on SsangYong's "Robust Aesthetics" design philosophy. No other details were released about the SUV. SsangYong said it will detail its plans for the development of midsize and large SUVs at the Seoul show.

SsangYong does not sell cars in the U.S., but has played an increasingly high-profile role at international auto shows. The SsangYong SIV-1 Concept debuted earlier this month at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.

Edmunds says: SsangYong keeps cranking out the concepts, but its future plans for the U.S. market are still murky.
