NASHVILLE, Tennessee — The Nissan Heisman House, one of the most powerful hookups between an automaker and a sports property, returns for a third college football season on ESPN.

The Nissan Heisman House imagines what it might be like if the winners of college football's highest individual honor lived together in the same house. The players are showcased along with such vehicles as the 2014 Nissan Sentra, 2014 Nissan Versa Note, 2014 Nissan Pathfinder and 2014 Nissan GT-R.

The latest campaign includes additions to the group of featured athletes that now includes 13 Heisman winners, along with new vignettes on TV and online that launch on August 31. The vignettes will debut prior to ESPN's Saturday Night Football game on ABC, followed by other ESPN platforms throughout the season.

The program also includes an interactive Web site and a Heisman House Tour that will travel to college campuses throughout the season. Fans will be able to try out kicks in a virtual football simulator and kick the tires on Nissan vehicles.

This season's Heisman House vignettes feature returning members Robert Griffin III, Barry Sanders, Ty Detmer, Ron Dayne, Matt Leinart, Troy Smith, Tim Brown, Carson Palmer and Desmond Howard. This year's spots also introduce newcomers Sam Bradford, Earl Campbell, Tony Dorsett and Mike Rozier to the roster.

Edmunds says: Looks like Nissan is about to score another big victory with its Heisman House.
