SEOUL, South Korea — The Kia Cub concept, a four-door coupe that is smaller than the 2013 Kia Soul, will debut on March 28 at the 2013 Seoul Auto Show.

Kia said the Cub is aimed at "trend-setting urban dwellers."

The Korean automaker described the Cub as having a "cheerful face." Few details were released about the Cub. It features headlights with "two-point LED lights," Kia said in a statement. No production plans were disclosed.

Kia said the Cub is "less than 4 meters long." It is less than 157.4 inches or 13 feet long. In comparison, the 2013 Kia Soul is 162.2 inches in length, while the 2013 Kia Forte is 179.5 inches long.

Kia continues to target younger buyers with its products. Last week, Edmunds noted that younger buyers are moving away from Japanese cars and embracing vehicles from Detroit and South Korea.

Edmunds says: A rivalry is springing up this week between the overlapping 2013 New York Auto Show and the 2013 Seoul Auto Show, especially with the unveiling of compelling products like the Kia Cub concept.
