TOKYO — The quirky Japanese tuner known for its "Black Bison" modification programs has unveiled a second aero kit for the 2013 Scion FR-S ahead of the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon.
The package was specifically designed for the 2012-'13 Toyota GT-86, the Japanese equivalent of the 2013 Scion FR-S and 2013 Subaru BR-Z in the States.
The kit features an aggressive aerodynamics package that includes side skirts, a rear diffuser that nests two pairs of stacked tailpipes, front half spoiler, air scoops, rear fender extensions and wide rear wing. Five-spoke wheels wrapped in low-profile rubber complement the look of the sporty Toyobaru.
The front half spoiler, side skirts and rear piece alone total the equivalent of $2,730. Expect more details from Wald during the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon from January 11-13.
Edmunds says: An aggressive kit that looks like it has claw-mark battle wounds from X-Men's Wolverine on the hood.
