DETROITThe first retail-production 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 will cross the auction block on January 18 to benefit Detroit's Cornerstone Schools, GM said on Thursday.

The first limited-production 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro will cross the auction block on January 17 to benefit the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans.

Both cars are part of the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale collector car auction.

Bids for both cars can be submitted at the auction or online.

The COPO Camaro carries Serial No. 1 for 2014 and features a one-off COPO Ice Blue Metallic satin paint scheme.

The Camaro Z/28 carries vehicle identification number 0001. The 2014 Camaro Z/28 starts at $75,000 and goes on sale in the spring.

The COPO Camaro program returns for the new model year with a limited run of 69 factory-built racecars.
