TOKYO — The face-lifted 2014 Lexus CT 200h was unveiled ahead of a world debut at the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show.

The most striking change for the restyled Lexus CT 200h is the adoption of the large spindle grille that has been widely adopted throughout the Lexus model line as the new "face" of the brand.

Other changes include new alloy wheels and a revised rear end with what Toyota is calling a "more horizontal structure."

No other details about the upgraded CT 200h were released. The car debuts in China on November 21.

The Lexus compact hybrid targets the 2014 Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf TDI. The base 2013 Lexus CT 200h starts at $32,960, including a $910 destination charge, according to the vehicle configurator at www.lexus.com.
