CREWE, England — Bentley's new holiday gift collection, which highlights the 10th anniversary of its victory at Le Mans, includes a $104 Bentley Continental Supersports remote-control car and a $112 set of espresso cups.

Bentley said in a statement the remote-control car does not quite reach "the 204 mph top speed" of the real thing, but promises an "effortless driving experience" anyway. The luxury automaker said the new holiday line reflects "a heritage of speed."

The kitschy set of Bentley espresso cups are decorated with racing photographs while the saucers carry the two winning car numbers, 7 and 8.

Another head-turner is a Geoffrey Parker Games backgammon set that can be customized to match the specification of a customer's beloved Bentley. From the hand-bound leather casing to the subtle Bentley wings on each knurled checker, this piece is special, right down to $4,715 price tag.

The racing theme continues on a leather duffle bag called the "Classic Weekender." It comes in British racing green and sports the number "9" on its side for the 1930 Le Mans-winning car. It is priced at $71.

Many automakers are rolling out holiday items. The new Mini by Puma collection, which features shoes and luggage, also debuted this week.

Edmunds says: If you can't wrap up a car, the holiday items are probably your second choice.
