HERNDON, Virginia The refreshed 2015 Volkswagen Jetta sedan starts at $17,035, including an $820 destination charge, reflecting a $520 price increase over the 2014 model.

The top-of-the-line 2015 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid SEL Premium model starts at $32,490, including shipping.

Volkswagen's 2015 Jetta TDI Clean Diesel model starts at $22,460, including shipping.

The 2015 Jetta lineup arrives at U.S. Volkswagen dealerships in late September.

The Jetta SportWagen is gone from the 2015 Jetta lineup. It will be replaced by the bigger and more fuel-efficient 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen.

"It will go on sale early next year," Volkswagen spokesman Mark Gillies told Edmunds on Tuesday in response to a query.

At launch, VW will offer a limited-edition 2015 Volkswagen Jetta Sport, starting at $21,715, including shipping. It adds a sport suspension, front sport seats, navigation system with rearview camera, rear spoiler and unique interior trim. This model is based on the Jetta 1.8T SE.

Key Jetta competitors include the Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Mazda 3.

Edmunds says: The 2015 Jetta is attractively priced against the competition.
