A 12-volt charging/power outlet will be included in the Countryman's cupholder. The Paceman's cupholder will include a 12-volt outlet and an iPod holder.

Despite the price increase, the 2014 Mini Paceman and Countryman still undercut two of their chief competitors, the 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 and the Ford Focus ST. Mini said a new $1,250 package, called City Pack, will be offered on all models. It includes an alarm system, power-folding mirror and rear park distance control. A $1,250 Premium package includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, rain sensor/automatic headlight control and automatic climate control.
