IRVINE, California — The mildly redesigned 2014 Kia Sedona minivan returns to the Kia lineup with a base price of $26,750, including an $850 destination charge.

Kia did not offer the Sedona for the 2013 model year. The 2012 Kia Sedona started at $25,700, including an $800 destination charge.
For 2014, the Sedona gets an updated front bumper and grille. Other upgrades include 17-inch multispoke wheels that are standard on EX and optional on the base LX model. Both trim levels get standard foglamps. All Sedonas get a storage console for iPads and smart tablets. The EX gets standard leather-trimmed seats, front seat heaters and automatic climate control.
Power comes from a standard 269-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine linked to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The base 2013 Honda Odyssey LX starts at $29,505, including an $830 destination charge. The base 2013 Toyota Sienna L starts at $27,430, including an $845 destination charge.
But the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan American Value Package is less expensive than the 2014 Kia Sedona. The base 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan starts at $20,990, including a $995 destination charge.
