The Polar Edition "takes inspiration from the severe climate and extreme conditions that characterize the Antarctic region," said Chrysler.
The Polar badge on the exterior shows the coordinates that correspond to the location of Vostok in Antarctica or the exact point where the "absolute severest temperate in the world was recorded at -128.56 degrees Fahrenheit," the automaker said.
Styling cues include 18-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels and a body-color hardtop. It is available in two- and four-door Unlimited versions. It is based on the Jeep Wrangler Sahara. The interior gets black heated leather seats with Pearl White accent stitching and Polar logos.
The limited-edition model is equipped with the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 285 horsepower.
