ANN ARBOR, Michigan — Pricing for the updated 2014 Hyundai Equus was announced today during a media drive event for the big sedan. The 2014 Equus Signature starts at $61,920, including a $920 destination charge. The uplevel Equus Ultimate is priced at $68,920, including shipping.
The new base price reflects a $1,750 increase compared to the 2013 Equus.
The 2014 Equus is on sale this week at the 400 Hyundai dealers that are certified to sell the near-luxury sedan.
Typical midcycle changes to the Equus include front and rear restyling, including LED foglights. A completely redesigned interior features a giant 9.2-inch touchscreen upgraded from the current model's 8-inch screen, and a new head-up display is now standard for the Ultimate model.
Mechanical revisions are mostly limited to both the standard and air suspension.
