HOLLYWOOD, California — A 2014 Freightliner Argosy cabover heavy-duty truck joins the ever-growing vehicle fleet in Transformers 4, according to the Web site of Michael Bay, the movie's director.

The over-the-road tractor, from Daimler Trucks North America, will join a custom-built Western Star, which will serve as the revamped Optimus Prime. Both vehicles are built by Daimler Trucks North America.

The big trucks are part of a rapidly expanding vehicle cast for the movie that now includes a 2013 Pagani Huayra, a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a military truck from Oshkosh Defense that will serve as the Autobot character Hound.

Transformers 4 is expected to be released on June 27, 2014, according to Paramount. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer.
