The online configurator only shows the LaFerrari decked out in Rosso Corsa (red), Nero (black) or Giallo Modena (yellow). But the supercar can be ordered in any color desired by a customer. Ferrari said it will build only 499 units of the car, even though it has received over 1,000 requests for the LaFerrari.
Ferrari also announced that the new exhibition at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello will feature a display on the development of the LaFerrari. The new exhibition is dubbed "Ferrari Supercar. Technology. Design. Myth."
"A large section of the exhibition is devoted to the development of the LaFerrari, illustrating both its technical content and styling," said Ferrari in a statement on Friday.
"The entire process from the car's initial conception to the approval of the final car is traced, in fact, and visitors also have the opportunity to see two full-scale models in addition to the various stages the car went through in its design and development." The exhibition runs until September 30.
The 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari stole the spotlight at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.
