TORRANCE, California — The 2013 Toyota Corolla LE Special Edition and Corolla S Special Editions will go on sale in late April starting at $21,345, including a $795 destination charge.

The price of the special editions reflects a $4,320 premium over the base 2013 Toyota Corolla L. The base 2013 Toyota Corolla L starts at $17,025, including a $795 destination charge.

The special editions add equipment, including upgraded audio with navigation and Toyota's Entune entertainment system.

The 2013 Toyota Corolla LE Special Edition adds 16-inch alloy wheels, power and heated beige leather-trimmed seats, Special Edition floor mats and exterior badging, and a unique Black Currant Metallic exterior color.

The 2013 Toyota Corolla S Special Edition adds 17-inch alloy wheels, sport fabric seats coordinated with a unique Hot Lava exterior color and Special Edition floor mats and exterior badging.

Toyota said a total of 7,500 Corolla Special Edition vehicles will be built in a two-month period starting in April.

The Toyota Corolla competes with the 2013 Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Chevrolet Cruze.
