COSTA MESA, California — Hyundai continues to bolster its impressive lineup for the 2013 SEMA Show, this time with a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe JP Edition in Atlantis Blue.
The special Genesis Coupe has been styled by noted tuner John Pangilinan. The emphasis is on the car's color, a striking blue with metallic hints.
"John Pangilinan is really a creative genius in color development, especially in his ability to blend color with specific vehicle concepts like the JP Edition Genesis Coupe," said Scott Margason, Hyundai Motor America director of product planning, in a statement.
Other details include custom metal fender flares from TS Designs, custom graphics by S&A Design, an APR carbon-fiber splitter and custom headlights with V-LEDs.
The cabin gets Recaro Cross Sportster seats, an Alpine Electronics system and Takata Drift III harnesses, along with a mounted GoPro Hero 3 video camera.
It appears that much of the Korean automaker's emphasis at SEMA will be on the Genesis Coupe.
Edmunds says: The barrage of 2013 SEMA Show cars from Hyundai just keeps coming.
