OK Car_man, Look at these numbers. 2007 Cadillac STS Base with Moonroof. 39 month lease, 10K per year. MSRP-44,195 Base Cap Cost-40,000 Residual-26075 Money Factor-.00165 I pay tax, 595.00 acquisition fee,tags and ist payment My payment is 466.00/month including tax. Hi BeamerMan. General Motors is currently providing $1,250 lease cash on GMAC leases of 2007 Cadillac STS V8 and $1,500 on GMAC leases of '07 STS V6 models. I have uncles that still won't buy anything but a Cadillac, but lucky for them Cadillac really does make something worth buying in 2007. It has to be a "hog". Really, Merc. The STS-V without bluetooth - the STS without an engine...the Escalade without folding rear seats, the CTS without - pretty much everything, the DTS without a driveshaft, the SRX without a theme ... I think that a CTS wagon would take sales away from the SRX, especially if the CTS has AWD. However, a CTS wagon could be the new SRX. i think the SRX will be short lived. For 2007 they have redone the interior but not the exterior which will give it legs for a few more years. I read somewhere that Cadillac will get a CUV based on Theta. The Audi system works well, in fact it works very well. But, it is woefully inadequate. You can say "navigation" and then "navigate to _____________ (name tag.)" You can also tell it to show you "everywhere" you have ever been and anything you have stored in the address book. I do have a fondness for the German cars we talk about here. It is somewhat confusing that they do seem to follow (in some respects) rather than lead in the HP (and more importantly but hardly ever mentioned torque) contest (I almost said "war.") I am leaseing a 2005 STS, the lease ends April 2007. Because of illness, i am putting very few miles on the car. (so far 9,000). Like the car very much and am wondering about a re-lease for another 3 yrs, I am worried that if I do lease this car again (based on the residual) I will NOT have a warranty, can I extend the warranty? I have also done some Excel Calculatin’ ( cypherin’ ? ) regarding the gearing.
