but already GM has a recall on the new CTS with the rear end leaking. including the 2005-2007 Cadillac CTS and STS sedans, I believe the recall is on the old CTS, not the new. FYI, GM had lower recalls than Toyota and all the other major OEM's last year even though they had the highest volume of sales. Read More...

But lately we have noticed that some of the GM cars are looking pretty impressive, namely the Cadillac CTS, Chevy Malibu, GMC Acadia, Saturn Vue, Saturn Outlook, Saturn Aura, Buick Enclave. You need to read the original post again, the average buyer age data is from 2005 (the most recent that I can found) but the IS and CTS owner age breakdowns are for 2008 model. Just in Case you missed it I'll post again. Even BMW, with their excellent 535i, has not announced plans to abandon the 550i. I also agree with pretty much everything you say but do no wait for BMW to announce dropping the V8 in the near term. They will continue to pay gaz guzzler taxes until the tax is so high actual buyers refuse to pay it. BMW will just pay the penalties as long as consumers support them. When ... Read More...

I hope you aren't talking about the new ULTRA Unfortunately yes. When I heard this I screamed at the person who told me. Not that it was their decision. BUT in looking at it and all the other stuff that is going on I can see why. I just do not like it. First the possible usage of the engine was very small volume. "I agree GM could do better in their Cadillac interiors......the XLR in particular the interior is dissapointing. " The XLR needs to be updated as does the STS to some degree. I like the CTS, DTS, Escalade and SRX interiors. They are very competitive with anything from MB or Lexus. The 2007 refresh of the SRX interior took it from worst in class to one of the best. Since its been on sale the 2008 CTS has outsold the C class, TL, IS, A4 and G35. I would say the car s doing just fine and will continue to do so....Read some of the consumer reviews right here on this site, many owners have traded in European cars.
