My dealer told me that my SRX had a repair kit before purchasing. Since I am over 70 I don't want to change a tire on some dangerous road. In most cases the tire gets low presure because of a nail and with the tire sensors on the SRX you are warned before havig a blow out. The repair kit allows for adding air without the danagerous task of changing the tire. All in all your dealer should have told but I prefer the repair kit.Report it
I understand your concern, a vehicle costing this much should come with more than a repair kit. It in fact should come at least optional with run flats. My best advice is that next time you are looking at spending that much money on a vehicle, you may want to do a little more research into what safety and convenience features it offers. I can see both sides though, and the reason you would be upset. I myself could have easily overlooked something like this too. And here's hoping Cadillac will hear your cry for help. Best wishes.Report it
