Just FYI re timing chain defect.As many have said on this forum this repair has been to common on the SRX.I had the chain replaced in late Feb. on my 2007 with 29,000 miles.My dealer had the car for a total of 3 days,provided a car to use and the vehicle is back as new.Overall quality since new has been average- but I do like the way the car performs. Hello tomy3 I have a 2007 SRX and recently had some of the same problems. Oddly, I had just picked my car up from the dealer for another matter when my check engine light came on for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Jim Coleman Cadillac in Bethesda have replaced the mass air flow system and the alternator. They have checked the started and the fuel pump and they said that it is ok. The SRX has never had a 3.5 liter V6. The CTS started out with an Opel V6, but it was not a 3.5 either. Read More...

I'm sorry, but you're dinging Cadillac because one of the testers kept opening the hood instead of putting on the parking brake? I'm sorry but that's just ridiculous. How about just reading the labels on levers instead, or perhaps just remembering them? I have a GM car with a similar setup and have never pulled the wrong lever. My 2007 SRX purchased 4 months ago is a LEMON. It is currently in the shop for the third time for a total of 28 days with a transmission issue. Now they are waiting on a new transmission, but none can be found. Time to enact the Lemon Law in Ohio. V8 - Six speed Auto Read More...

The 20 inch wheels are a new for 2007 option. The 2004, 2005 and 2006 models only offered 18 inch wheels. I don't know what kind of warranty the wheel dealer included, but these wheels probably could invalidate the Cadillac warranty if they cause any damage to your SRX. Read More...
