Hi, I have a 2005 SRX and have a problem with the DIC. It usually shows more gallons used than the tank holds (by about 7 to 9 gallons). Needless to say that this throws off all the calculations such as MPG, gallons used, etc. Additionally, I think it's related, my radio personal settings constantly revert back to a default setting. The good news is that the lease on my 2002 JGC Overland HO (High Maintenance) is coming up. Based upon its recent unreliability and the 2005s downgraded (plastic would be rejected by the little tikes toy company) interior, it will be my last of 3 in a row JGCs. I had a 2004 V6 Toyota Highlander which is the same as the Lexus RX's. It was a piece of crap. Just do a search for Toyota and Hesistation. Both the toyota and lexus shifted like a 100 hp V4. Toyota/Lexus had to issue a new a TSB to reprogram the computers which did not help. And the 5 different dealers i went to, were all rude and ignorant. After I traded it in for a 2005 SRX ... Finally I am ready to buy a car. I have decided on a 2005 Cadillac SRX with the luxury performance package. According to Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds the MSRP is $52,695 and the invoice is $47,441. Free sunroofs in 2005?

I was talking to a Cadillac dealer's salesman today, and he said that there is currently a $1500 rebate on cars without a sunroof, in addition to the $1000 rebate on all SRXs. (Maybe this only applies to V8s, I'm not sure.) This suggests to me that the sunroofs are going to be included with the '05 V8s at little or no additional cost. If I remember correctly, Cadillac was planning on about 25K units of the SRX for the first model year. As of 4/3/04, they've produced just under 28,000 (from autonews.com). I imagine that sometime in the next couple of months they will switch production to the 2005's. We have about 1,600 miles on our V8 SRX, not a single problem, fit and finish are great, and drives ...
