2005 Cadillac SRX Rwd 4dr SUV (4.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
My 2005 Cadillac SRX is great for everyday errands and hauling people around. The seats are easy to put up and down. It is a great vehicle for a small woman like myself.
Favorite Features
I love the satelite radio / guidence map system and the ability to adjust the break and fuel pedals and raise the seat to the height needed.
Suggested Improvements
Put the gas tank on the drivers side. Add a heads up dash or at least a digital display, bells when you are low on fuel, turn arrows that flash on the side mirrors. The dash speedomter need to be easier to see and read.

The 2005 Cadillac SRX is smooth, speedy, and agile. It is great fun to drive with performance that may startle you. If you're looking for a beautiful, refined, performance SUV with great styling; drive this one. This might be the best vehicle that I've ever owned.

2005 Cadillac SRX AWD 4dr SUV (3.6L 6cyl 5A)
Review
The 2005 Cadillac SRX is a wonderfully comfortable vehicle to drive. The 6-cyclinder engine could be a little peppier, espectially when getting onto highways. I found the steering to be tight and excellent.
Favorite Features
This vehicle is easy to enter and exit. I love the navigation system and parking assist options.
Suggested Improvements
The SRX should have an automatic tailgate. Also, heated seats should be standard.

Having a DeVille as previous car, the ride is not as smooth but for a SUV it handles and rides great. Having the glass top for viewing is really great and to ride with it open does give the feel of conv. But only drawback is I can't have satellite radio on the model with the glass top. Gas mileage on the highway is disappointing for a six cyl. car it comes at barely 22mpg. My biggest problem is that my wife loves it and I rather have a DeVille.
Favorite Features
glass top
Suggested Improvements
add satellite. radio to glass top and increase gas milage.

excellent vehicle to drive and nice looking. controlls very hard to operate, heater and air very small buttons and you must take eyes off road to operate. also very hard to exit as you have about three inches of metal to swing legs over. would like better gas milage but like that i can use regular gas.if vechicle continues to operate like now would purchase another.
Favorite Features
driving comfort and easy to see out of when backing up. body design.
Suggested Improvements
change exit to make easier. put controlls for heater or air on top instead underneath. mute button for radio, stronger or brighter back up light's

This is my 16th Cadillac and I love it. It handles well, rides well. Holds the road great. Quieter than I expected it to be. Plenty of power to over take most vehicles on the road.
Favorite Features
Tightness of the steering. Over sized sunroof. Dvd navigation and touch screen for the radio and CD controls.
Suggested Improvements
Make the vanity mirrors and glove box bigger. Need a more upscale look to the interior and dashboard. HATE the location of the lumbar button for the driver's seat. I CANNOT believe that the parking brake is not automatically vacuum released. My 64 had it. Need a power tilt/telescope steering wheel.

Having been the driver of Duallys, trucks and large SUVs over the last 20 years, I am delighted with the roomy compactness of the SRX. I still feel high enough up off the road to be comfortable, and I don't worry about an entire Honda Accord (or the like) being obscured & hidden in the blind spots as is the case with driving large SUVs. The SRX wheels into the smallest of parking spaces with as much ease as any small car. It handles effortlessly and is a pleasure to drive. Cadillac appears to still be King of Bells & Whistles.
Favorite Features
Bose Radio System. Large moon roof. Comfortable, roomy middle seats. Many adjustments available for front seat comfort. Navigational system. Powered up/down back seat. Overall size. Black glare-free dash. Front seat passenger's own temperature controls.
Suggested Improvements
Lighted ashtray/storage compartment.Three passengers in the middle seats means no cup holder for any of them. Is almost impossible to step out of driver's side without getting the calf area of your pants dirty.

This is the most comfortable and economic car in the luxury class. I am a petite woman and find the ride appealing. I am in my mid-20s; Cadillac has always appealed to the older generation but has now appealed to the Generation X clan!! Thanks and I would recommend this car to anyone who can afford this price range!!!!!
Favorite Features
Sound system, sun roof, new technologies

GPS standard like escalade!

A blast to drive. Great seats and sound system. More electronic features than I will ever use. Eight's acceleration is breathtaking! Quiet, comfortable, safe, and stable in all weather.
Favorite Features
Outstanding stability and handling. Dizzying array of airbags. Love the Onstar and built in hands-free phone. Heated seats and lumbar support are heavenly on cold mornings.
Suggested Improvements
Needs full instrumentation and remote rear hatch release. Who wants to grab a wet outside rear hatch handle? Third row seat is for those without legs--not worth 1K extra! Interior too plain without wood trim package for an expensive car. Thirsty! Protective strips for flanks needed. Boring colors.
