Review

I bought a used '98 Seville with only 32,000. I like the way the car handles and the interior. The back could use a little room. I don't like the way the car virbrates because of the tires. A person at the dealership who is in the maintenance department told me the virbration was not bad compared to most Sevilles he has tested. He suggested getting Michelin tires to get much better handling and performance. The manufaturer really needs to work on that desgin flaw. Other than that I love the car.

Favorite Features

The digial display. The interior and exterior design. The way the car handles.

Suggested Improvements

Move the park break. Put the cd player in the trunk. Improve balancing for tires. Tires has to be balanced too often. Find a way to remove all the cabling from under the seats. It really takes away from the car's ambience of being a luxury ride.

Review

Handles great, hugs curves excellently, great pickup power & steady smooth highway driving. Looks brand new, shines like a mirror and the inside is inpeckable. Only has 27, 800 miles. Last year's mileage was 4,200!

Favorite Features

Great pickup power and looks awesome if you like a dark metallic blue/green outside with bone inside

Suggested Improvements

BtB warranty expired in May 2002, the time on the warranty expired way before the mileage limit. This car has no BtB extended warranty.

Review

The first car I ever drove was a Cadillac Fleetwood and what I remember most about the vehicle was the ride. It floated along the roads. After owning other foreign and domestic cars, I purchased my first Cadillac, an SLS. While the SLS does not float like the Fleetwood, it is a great ride. This car is very responsive and handles well. I've not had any problems with the vehicle using more oil than my other vehicle. Even on a long trip, the occupants were comfortable. Buying this car was a good decision.

Favorite Features

I enjoy driving it and the Bose stereo enhances the ride.

This is a great car. Definitely stands out amoung the zillions of BMW 5's and MB E-classes around here, which are as common as Taxis in NYC. Great performance, cool features. The automated stuff like lights, radio volume, door locking, etc actually works when you want it to. Excellent cruiser. Had a few minor "typical GM" problems, but nothing significant

Looks, radio, engine power, gadgets.

A little more rear seat room.

Review

This is a departure from the traditional Cadillac look and feel. It drives and accelerates smoothly and comfortably without being dull or sluggish. The 300hp Northstar engine is a gem.

Favorite Features

The Northstar engine, the Bose Premium sound system, the comfort features and the sexy looks.

Suggested Improvements

Get rid of the digital dash for a more European analog-style dash such as ones found in the Mercs and BMWs.

Car styling is great and quite a looker. STS commercials suggest you are getting something you are not: This car does not handle as well as deVilles, etc. It drinks oil like it is gas, yet the dealer says it is within specs: 1 qt per 1000 mi. Too many rattles, the driver's door has now developed the typical GM rattle and shake No more domestics for me, back to BMW and VOLVO (my 18 year old BMW drinks no oil and runs great at 200K miles.

Review

The car is a great concept but poor implementation. Lot of rattles and problems because of build quality. Problems with brakes, A/C, suspension. No place for sunglasses, cannot see clock in daylight. Engine runs strong but drinks oil. Handling is good.

Seats are comfortable, engine very strong. Side lights for turning. Good Vehicle crash rating

Suggested Improvements

Sound system need base. My Caravan system sounds better. Improve interior ergonomics. Improve fit and finish.

Only knock is the alignment

Review

This STS has been the best car I've owned. The performance in rain or snow has been outstanding. MPG on the highway has been closer to 25. My only negative has been the constant attention required for tire rotation and alignment. The alignment on all four wheels needs review every 90 days during winter and spring months.

The onboard monitoring is flawless.

Review

The STS is one of the best automobiles I've owned. Reliability is excellent, fuel economy is around 27 MPG highway, and comfort is exceptional. The car also handles very well in snow.

Favorite Features

Interior comfort is exceptional. The stereo is also excellent.

Suggested Improvements

Front seat cup holders are a downgrade from previous Sevilles I've owned. That's the only thing about the car I don't like. This is one great car!
