1995 Cadillac Fleetwood 4dr Sedan

Review

I LOVE this car. Had one other and an Impala SS and Buick Roadmaster Wagon (same b-body platform). Detuned LT1 (0-60 in 8.5 secs) is easy on gas (18/20 city and 22/24 highway)and very reliable. Truthfully, the car will fall apart around the engine and transmission. Some designed-in ergonomic/interior fascia flaws but with bone yards ripe with these cars you've got plenty of cheap replacement parts at the ready. If you're looking for a reliable floaty boaty car, this it it. Tomorrow's collector car, for sure. But then again, how popular are 55 Cadillacs today?

Best Features

Style - it's embarrassingly large and fun to drive. Super reliable. And not bad on gas (considering the size and V8 engine. Over-engineered V4P (tow package cars) have oil coolers, transmission coolers, larger radiator, and direct drive cooling fans making one super durable Caddy!

Worst Features

Poorly designed seat controls tear into the leather/vinyl. B-pillar headliner material wears off easily. Long car average length interior - would like to have seen more legroom for front and rear wheel passengers. The length is all in the hood and trunk. Detuned LT1. Sharp door edges.
