Cadillac Escalade Maintenance and Repair

Re: 2007 Cadillac Escalade PROBLEMS...hesitation [mil6753]

The phantom wipe does have a fix. Caddy has a firmware module update that has been available for months, so the dealer is giving you a line. http://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web shows: BCM (Body Control Module), Wiper Control - Part # 15924898 CVN # 0000E48F (New software for improved operation including a fix for phantom wipe when rain sensing is enabled). ... Re: 2007 Cadillac Escalade PROBLEMS...hesitation [jaycough]

Dealer claims phantom wipe is 'by design'. Says Cadillac intended it to do a single wipe up on starting up so that you know the wipers are on. uh huh. Hesitation - having issue when I press on gas when cornering or doing between 35-40 - around town speeds - and you press on the gas and the engine actually lowers RPMs and sounds like it's bogging down, until you finally ... Cadillac Escalade Lease Questions

Re: Where are APR's and residuals at now? [mil6753]

For now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 12,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade with 12,000 ... Read More...

Re: 2007 Escalade Update - Evaluation [awf_axis]

all LED marker/tail lights I was behind an '07 at a traffic light and noticed that the trademark Cadillac high-center stoplight that runs the width of the top of the rear end was only 30% functional. Only the middle 30% of the light actually had functioning LEDs in it. The rest of the light didn't light up. Was this particular Escalade defective or is this how it is ... Read More...

Re: 2007 Cadillac Escalade hesitation [djwatson]

I just took mine to the dealer last week. I got the phantom wipe fixed on the auto wipers. They updated the Engine computer with newer code. Did not help..in fact.. I think it is a little worse. With the A/C on, half throttle of the line will cause very noticable hesitation. I am trying to be patient since this is a new engine/tranny combo, but doesn't GM road test these ... Read More...

Cadillac Escalade Lease Questions

Re: Escalade Lease Price [mil6753]

Hi mil6753. Here's the info that you're looking for. If you were to lease a 2007 Cadillac Escalade through GMAC right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, its base lease rate and residual value should be 6.95% and 55%, respectively. As you can see, GMAC uses lease rates instead of money factors to calculate vehicles' lease payments. You can convert its ... Read More...
