2007 Cadillac Escalade hesitation

I have the same issue with my 2007 Escalade. I have talked to the dealer and do not seem to be to concerned about it. I do have a problem paying $60,000 for a suv with this type of a problem Read More...

Can GM make Cadillac the standard of the world Again?

Re: Cadillac...and others [merc1]

I have uncles that still won't buy anything but a Cadillac, but lucky for them Cadillac really does make something worth buying in 2007. It has to be a "hog". Really, Merc. The STS-V without bluetooth - the STS without an engine...the Escalade without folding rear seats, the CTS without - pretty much everything, the DTS without a driveshaft, the SRX without a theme ... Re: Cadillac Automotive News analysis. [sls002]

I think that a CTS wagon would take sales away from the SRX, especially if the CTS has AWD. However, a CTS wagon could be the new SRX. i think the SRX will be short lived. For 2007 they have redone the interior but not the exterior which will give it legs for a few more years. I read somewhere that Cadillac will get a CUV based on Theta. This will, to me, look about like the ... Read More...

Can GM make Cadillac the standard of the world Again?

Re: . [tlong]

I am a Caddy fan, and I agree with your assessment 95%. Yes, German cars offer advanced technology and refined ride, but are less reliable. The "bells & whistles" make German cars desirable even if reliability is below par. Lets not forget the Germans have lost some of their customer base to Lexus. In 1989 Mercedes & BMW pretty much owned the Luxury segment, and ... Read More...

Can GM make Cadillac the standard of the world Again?

Re: . [chevy598]

chevy598, You do make a great argument. I agree the build materials of a Cadillac, isn't quite as good as say a typical Mercedes. I will also say I've seen some MB's with some shoddy material quality issues myself. I believe it was in the early 2000's when some MB models raised a few eyebrows in material quality execution. Audi, I agree has some of the best interiors ... Read More...

.

I think that the SRX makes more sense than the Escalade. The Escalade is more or less the same as the GMC Denali. The SRX is all Cadillac, but perhaps a bit smaller than most would want. There seem to be more 2007 program Escalades than 2006's. Read More...
