Re: I wish I liked it more, but something is missing [callmedrfill]
I am an owner of a 2004 "Out of the Blue" blue Escalade EXT. I always receive so many comments from other young men and women on the styling and the color. I am afraid to say that I am disappointed too in the new 2007 exterior styling. It looks like a gussied up Mercury Mountaineer, definitely NOT "a good thing"! I am hopeful Cadillac reads this and modifies the new grille ... Read More...

2007 'slade unwrapped
"If one thing stands out in GM's full-size 2007 SUVs, it's their interiors. Even the preproduction vehicles shown had tight panel fit and impressively rich materials. Cadillac's design is much different from the other brands, but there's nothing truckish about any of them." Re: e: R.e My opinion on the rivals.... [jamessahal]
James, the Cadillac ESV doesn't really look funny over here because so many vehicles are long like that ( Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon XL, Ford Excursion... and not as long... the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, Toyota Sequoia, etc). Seems like 50% of Americans drive an SUV or some type of truck. The Hummer is nothing like the Cadillac... totally different ... Read More...
Re: R.e My opinion on the rivals.... [jamessahal]
James, I wouldn't say the Escalade is "so outdated" compared to it's rivals. The Escalade is a truck, built on a truck chassis. It has a wonderful towing capacity compared to the German, Swedish, Japanese rivals. What is so bad about the interior?? To me, most GM dash boards are "too" plasticy, which makes it look cheap. The leather is nice, the feel of the door opening ... Read More...
Re: [blkcadillac]
Blk Cadillac, I sure appreciate your comments regarding the Escalade. I share your opinions thouroughly. And just wanted to add that its easy to take shots at the "Big Dog". The Cadillac Escalade REVOULUTIONIZED the full size SUV market and continues to dominate it. Heck you clowns have wheels on your trucks right now! thanks to the trend setting Escalade. If ... Risky sayings retracted
Yes, It is true I am partial to the Escalade. If we all had the same taste the roads would be pretty boring. I have been on the phone at length with Cadillac and it appears that no major changes are in line for the Escalade until 2007. It looks like another year of the same body style. Until then I will be content with the present styling. Happy driving! Read More...
Re: 2006 Caddy Escalade [mrprice]
In no way does the Navigator even come close to comparing to the Escalade First which model year Navigator are you driving? And why does the Navigator not even come close in comparison to the Escalade? I know from the reviews that the Navigator seems slightly down on power, but most say the power is adeuqate for city and highway driving. Apart from that, that seems ... Read More...
