Re: 2003 Escalade will not start. Fuse Problem? [vajohn]

Hello, I am new to this forum. I am the owner of a 2006 Escalade. I am currently experiencing starting problems where you turn the ignition and engine does not fire or turn. However, I have read several postings on this forum and other respective forums related to starting issues. My wife was driving the SUV throughout the day and did not experience any problems ... Can GM make Cadillac the standard of the world Again?

Re: The Only Luxury Car... [lemko]

Her is some interesteing data from July 2007. According to the industry examiners at CNW Research, Cadillac’s fortunes appear to be slipping away at the margins. In the firm’s July installment of their Retail Automotive Summary, their Aspirational Index (which judges a brand’s attractiveness to consumers) reveals that Cadillac’s rising star is beginning ... Re: Switching to Cadillac from Infiniti. [louiswei]

Whenever I had my 2002 Cadillac Seville STS in for extended service, my dealer usually gave me a Cadillac loaner. I once had a new 2005 CTS for an entire weekend and I took it to Macungie. I usually got a DeVille. Heck, I wouldn't mind it if they gave me an XLR or Escalade just for once. Read More...

Re: We have to get it together in the US [tntmyth]

But lately we have noticed that some of the GM cars are looking pretty impressive, namely the Cadillac CTS, Chevy Malibu, GMC Acadia, Saturn Vue, Saturn Outlook, Saturn Aura, Buick Enclave. Also some of the Fords look good, like the Ford Edge, Ford Fusion, Lincoln MKZ, Mercury Milan. I agree completely Americans are starting to build better vehicles, The only ... Read More...

Re: can't read graphs [mr215]

You need to read the original post again, the average buyer age data is from 2005 (the most recent that I can found) but the IS and CTS owner age breakdowns are for 2008 model. Just in Case you missed it I'll post again. JD Power Model Age Profile (all 2008 models except the Lexus LS which is 2007): Cadillac CTS: Ages 16-35 - 12% Ages 36-55 - 34% Ages 56+ - 54% Cadillac STS: ... Read More...

Re: can't read graphs [louiswei]

what do numbers from 2005 have to do with the 2008 CTS which has been on sale since August? If you read some of the consumer reviews on Edmunds you will see that many of the people who have commented cross-shopped and/or owned import luxury brands. Not sure what that says about their age but I suspect its a sign that they are younger than typical Caddy buyers. The other ... Read More...

I recently saw a sale in the newspaper for 2006 leftovers for that same price. You may want to check that out. I foresee them offering the old models at a more discounted price seen they revamped the 2007 model. Read More...

2005 Cadillac Escalade - Dealership Left Over

CarMan, I recently visited and Cadillac dealership and I checked out an 05 Cadillac Escalade with the PDC package (Chrome Rims/Navigation/Sun Roof). The MSRP is $58,150 and they offered the car to me for $43,000 (taxes and licensing not included). I'm unable to tell if this is a good deal because it's a leftover. Is there a formula for being able to determine how ... Read More...
