Hey Car Man, I have a 2005 escalade that i pay $710 a month for. My lease is up this month and I am looking to roll into a new escalade (as fully loaded as possible). Whenever I had my 2002 Cadillac Seville STS in for extended service, my dealer usually gave me a Cadillac loaner. I once had a new 2005 CTS for an entire weekend and I took it to Macungie. I usually got a DeVille. Heck, I wouldn't mind it if they gave me an XLR or Escalade just for once. Read More...

But lately we have noticed that some of the GM cars are looking pretty impressive, namely the Cadillac CTS, Chevy Malibu, GMC Acadia, Saturn Vue, Saturn Outlook, Saturn Aura, Buick Enclave. You need to read the original post again, the average buyer age data is from 2005 (the most recent that I can found) but the IS and CTS owner age breakdowns are for 2008 model. Just in Case you missed it I'll post again. what do numbers from 2005 have to do with the 2008 CTS which has been on sale since August? If you read some of the consumer reviews on Edmunds you will see that many of the people who have commented cross-shopped and/or owned import luxury brands. I recently saw a sale in the newspaper for 2006 leftovers for that same price.You may want to check that out. I foresee them offering the old models at a more discounted price seen they revamped the 2007 model. Read More...

CarMan, I recently visited and Cadillac dealership and I checked out an 05 Cadillac Escalade with the PDC package (Chrome Rims/Navigation/Sun Roof). The MSRP is $58,150 and they offered the car to me for $43,000 (taxes and licensing not included). I'm unable to tell if this is a good deal because it's a leftover.
