We have been very happy with our Escalade. At about 70,000 the transmission went out and our extended warranty took care of. They did a repair and not a replacement. Other than that this has been a great truck. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a newer one next year.
The Escalade looks good and has plenty of room.
The console display needs to be turned towards the driver. It would be better if it was centered. Also the console box opens towards driver. Since a truck that big usually has passengers it should open in the front. I think the Escalades now have a power rear door. The door is very heavy to shut and huge to open.
I enjoy driving a SUV vehicle, owned
Jeeps before for 18 years and find the
Escalade much better. Visibility is
great, the car seems to handle the
curves much better than any Jeeps. The
interior stays cleaner, seating is very
comfortable, acceleration is super
therefore passing another vehicle is
easy..in fact much better than the
DeVille 2002 model.My only gripe...the
radio buttons they are not equal to the
rest of the Escalade..seem shoddy!!
There are so many favorite features,
hard to name any! The Escalade is a
simple, easy to take care off vehicle!
The radio knob needs to be improoved,
perhaps going over the systems, it
truly has flaws compared to the
DeVille. Mine was broken the very first
week and is now broken again...I am
very careful with them and yet the
spring is broken again.
