2012 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition 4dr SUV AWD (6.2L 8cyl 6A)
I have owned a 2012 Escalade ESV for 6 months. It is solid and has performed very well. Several items to look for when buying: 1. Have the front shocks been replaced (They typically fail around 100,000). I recommend replacing them with the AC Delco OEM replacements. 2. Are the rear air shocks and air pump (located on the frame behind the driver's side rear wheel) working correctly? … 3. Check all HVAC and Audio controls both front and rear. These components are getting harder to find and expensive when you do.
Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. It's getting 14.8 mpg city and 15.3 mpg highway.
