Review

Bought car new in Dec. 2000. Never any problems - only oil changes, batteries, and tires required. All gadgets still work great, but service engine light has come on - transmission torque converter code. Mileage has not dropped, but light still worries me. Since dealer wants over $3K to fix what is now a $5K car, I will probably buy a foreign luxury car (Lexus, Audi, Mercedes). Refuse to buy from any company that took government bailout money. GM and banks should perish for stealing from taxpayers.

Best Features

Wonderful, isolated ride. Everything works and no problems for nine years!

Worst Features

New Devilles seem unchanged after ten years. No investment in R&D? Good product despite a horribly managed company.

Could you tell I was angry while typing the last comment? I spelled "too" with only one "o". We all should be angry when people refer to the government LOANS to Chrysler and GM as "bailouts". They were not. They were loans that were paid back by GM ahead of schedule.

Ignorance is bliss, so you should be happy driving your Lexus as more American companies fail because of jobs going oversees. Where will your children work? GM doesn't want them if they are also to ignorant to understand that GM did not get a bailout, it was a loan that was paid back and was only needed because of the credit crisis in the banking industry. Idiots rule the web.

Have you misinformed malpatriots any idea how much money Japan had to front their corporations in the 90s? Get educated or shut your mouth.
