This is my third Cadillac and this is my favorit of the 3. Ride and handling our excellent.

The navigation system instructions are very difficult to follow. To this date I don't know how to use it and nobody at the dealer even knows how to use it. They keep telling me that the cts system is the too complicated and they don't have anybody to teach me how to use it.

Cadillac CTS, a 'fun drive'

The Cadillac CTS says 'drive me', and that is exactly what I did when I went hunting for a car in the spring of 2003. Cadillac was getting a lot of buzz, being that the XLR and SRX were getting ready to roll into the dealers, and that the CTs has been getting a lot of buzz. I checked out a loaded CTS and test-drived. I bought it that day, at the dealership, right there, right then. My Cadillac has a 220 hp V-6, but I will be getting either a V-Series or something else soon. I love the vehicle.

....................................... ..maybe.......no.....maybe.....most likely no improvements on the CTS, except for an engine upgrade ( Cadillac is one step ahead of me)

Review

I received the Cadillac CTS as a company car and it has been the most impressive company car that I've ever driven. In the past I have had Volvo, Sabb and various General Motors, Fords and Chrysler's. I really like the firm suspension without being considered bumpy. After driving the sob 9-5 I was surprised that he used more gas but I guess that's what you have to give up for the performance. The styling of the car is really progressive and is like nothing else on the highway. For those who enjoy being different this is just what they're looking for.

Favorite Features

My favorite feature of the automobile is one that is really not all that technical. The key fobs identify who's going to be driving the car and changes all of the sea settings before I even get into the car.

Suggested Improvements

At this point I really can't say that I have any suggestions for improvement other than other like to see better fuel ratings for the vehicle but if we did that we wouldn't get the performance so in essence I don't want to see anything changed.

This car is a constant pleasure to drive. Outstanding driving feel, beautiful new engine,(the 3.6L), and high content for the dollar. Interior materials feel better than they look, no Altima-like hard plastics... Everything feels high quality, perhaps it is the light shine coating GM put on everything that takes away from the look. Cant say enough about the new engine and transmission, I have never felt a more seamless auto in my life, this includes overrated BMW and MB. Couple small gripes--loose carpet near the driver right foot, but the dealer/GM will fix it no charge. Cant beat the domestics on rebates either. EXCELLENT first effort by GM here.

Sweet 3.6L engine and hydramatic auto tranny...Good FEEL to interior materials...Excellent in driving feel...Cool programable function steering wheel buttons...Nice info. display on center stack

Suggested Improvements

Take the gloss of the dash and other interior surfaces!!! Secure the carpet better near the footpedals...Space the brake and gas a little further apart...Dump the package only options, allow us to pick and choose w/o having to pay over 5000 just to get heated seats or zenons please!!!

poor service, bad car

Had a leak in the air conditioner to the inside of the car. Twice the leak re occured. the servicing dealer damaged the car both times it was in for repair. Many other problems..car stayed in the shop many days. Wrote Cadilac about it but did not even get the courtesy of a reply. They dont seem to be interested in what customers think. Avoid this Car

I recently bought the 2004 cts with the 3.6 liter engine.I can say without hesitation that none of the competition comes close.This cadillac is very well built.The engine is smooth and responsive.

Unique style.Powerful engine. World class transmission. Spectacular dash.

The center console could be improved.

Review

I looked at the BMW, Jag, Volvo etc. This car has the design and preformance that beats all of these. The key is to get the 255hp engine. Caddy did a great job with this car!

In a world of cars that look the same, the CTS turns all heads and give the driver the comfort of a Caddy and the preformance of a import!

Review

Recently purchased the 3.6 CTS and am very impressed with the power and smooth acceleration. The cabin is extremely quiet and roomy when compared to some of the competition. The Bose system and XM make a great combination. We just had a snow and ice storm and for a rear wheel drive vehicle it handled extremely well in the snow mode with traction control on.
