Solid feeling car, handles extremely
well, great sound system, well crafted.
Conservative style yet classy and
understated. Completely overshadows the
1998 ES300 Lexus, or Camery, in luxury
and feel but that does not take alot to
do with boring Japanese cars in this
It may be true that you can drive
japanese cars harder only then to toss
them away, but if you want a nice car
to own and you drive responsibly,

in the used market.
Solid ride, stereo, all those built in
features that are optional on the
Japanese cars. Even the back seats are
more comfortable in the Catera.
If you were to change the decals to
BMW, I think all those who complained
about this german/american car would
not have done so. The cupholders are
lame thou, and issues with the battery
not charging after starting are about
all that has gone wrong.
