Hello Sarah from GM, So how does one send you an email when your e-mail address is marked as "private"? My 2006 Buick Terraza (same body as the Uplander) started its ABS trouble right after the warranty ended. I have not taken mine into a dealership because I cannot afford to pay megabucks to fix this lemon. Will GM make good on a flawed ABS system in a car that is ... Read More

I have a 2006 Buick Terraza, and from looking at the service information from the GM service info, I cannot find anything that relates to a rear suspension issue. My behicle acts like the air shocks area not working. While traveling down the hwy i am constantly chasing the rear of the vehicle as it is bouncing all over. I did the self-test function that GM calls for, and that showed ... Read More

I have a 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 and have had a similar problem. If we close the passenger side power sliding door with the manual option then it doesn't chime, but if we use the power door with the power option then it randomly chimes while I'm driving. We never know when it'll go off and so far with one exception we can park the van and manually open and close ... Read More

I'll appologize up front for the length of this post. We have a 2006 Terraza with AWD. It has 34,000 miles on it and is still under warrenty. A couple of months ago started getting a groaning noise during turns. By the time we were able to get a chance to bring it in the noise stopped and the information center on the dash would flash a message that the AWD ... Read More

I own a 2006 Saturn Relay 3 and the only problem I've had is that intermittenly the Power door (right side) will close, then open slightly and close again like it was reseating or trying to relock... But, other than that, no problems. And, that only happens once or twice a month, maybe. I bought it in October of 2006, and have 28,000 miles on it. Mark

You should go for the terraza. Buick vehicles are very good and the terraza, although it wouldn't be my first choice of minivan, is a good choice. The 3.9 liter is much better than the 3.5. The Quiet Tuning process really helps with the noise and the power sliding doors are a very helpful feature. You don't need to worry to much about depreciation because it has the longest warranty of ... Read More

I have an opportunity to buy a 2006 Terraza CXL w/3.9 for a liitle under Edmunds trade-in value. It has 15,000 miles, as my in-laws drove it from Montana to Texas and back, with a stop once in Oregon. He is meticulous about care and maintenance. I think it's the best car I've ever owned...I'm 68, my 1st car was a '40 DeSoto...so there's a lot of cars in between. Any "problems" that I've had have been taken care, cheerfully, by my dealer. As the owner of an '05 Uplander, I would spend the extra cash to get the 3.9 liter in the 2006. Don't get me wrong, we love the van and it's been reliable but just be aware that you will have an issue with flickering lights, possibly side moldings that come unglued (not sure if the Terraza has that issue, or just the Uplander), a whistling noise on acceleration around 2500 ... One dealer still has a new 2005 on the lot and is offering $5,700 off MSRP. Great mini-review! Thanks. Sounds like you got a GREAT deal. Was the 8k off due to the "Red Tag Sale"? Compare this ... my Buick dealer offered to sell me a loaded 2006 Terraza AWD for $20K if I traded in my vehicle (worth $13K). Sounds like the Relay is a much better value and looks like I'll be going to a Saturn dealer for a test drive of the Relay! ... Read More

I began with the idea of replacing my Saturn L300 lease with a GM lease, since the "new" GM vans were coming out about the time I began looking. I drove the Buick Terraza and the Uplander AWD vans. I have driven the SV6 and loved it, it was very smooth and quiet and took the ... Read More
