Outstanding performance and gas milage! Ride is very smooth, although handling is a little soft. LT1 V8 rocks, stero is excellent (even better with aftermarket radio). Tons of performance for the money
Definitely the engine and MPG.
Only area that I wish GM would have put more thought into was the Optispark distributor.
This car is so awsome. A lot of us do
not like FWD and this RWD has a lot of
punch! Note that Chrysler 300 is now
going back to this design! If you use
restraint on the gas and hold the
reigns tightly, you can squeeze 29 MPG
on the highway and that's impressive
given the ease at which this car
glides to the posted limit. And
comfort and room abound!
I just love this car!
Gotta be the "LT1"! :)
Mute point, since it was untimely
scrapped and GM lost its only RWD and
is the only one now of the big "3" not
to offer one.
The 94-96 roadmasters feature a highly
Tweakable Corvette engine also know as
the "LT1" at stock it is 260hp but with
little effort and a few hundred dollars
it can easily be 300. it rides like a
dream and has the power of a corvette,
a big trunk means some room for some
subwoofers if u would like, all i can
say is HAVE FUN! go testdrive a
power everything :) stock sound system
isnt too bad with a cd player upgrade ;)
do a search on google for "Impala ss
modifications" and goto the impala ss
superstore the 94-96 has the same
engine as the roadmaster and all engine
parts will fit on there too. some
roadmasters have been tweaked to over
400hp. the engine is highly capable!
Got my car at 10,000 miles from a
relative. Super fast pickup with a lot
of power for the highway. Very smooth,
very well appointed.
All the power of a V8! You forget it
has such good pickup. Limited is full
of luxury. Very smooth, quiet ride.
The trunk is TINY becaues they've got a
full size spare in the trunk (not under
the floorboard). My Taurus can hold
more suitcases. Also, when you put the
car in Park the power doorlocks
automatically unlock all doors. I hate
