Engine Change?
Written by: tomodell on May 25, 2006 7:54:07 AM
I have a 2001 Buick Century and was thinking of putting in a new engine from a Regal. The Century has a whimpy 3.1 L. engine and I want the 3.8 that is installed in the Regal and many other G.M cars. I was thinking that the Regal would be the best source, since the Regal and the Century have the same body. The main thing I need to know is, ... Read More

I have a 2001 Buick Regal LS. The alarm remote (fob) plastic broke at the hole for placing a ring to connect it to your key ring. Expo: Pan Gasket
Written by: mrrogers on Dec 31, 2004 11:45:54 AM
My wife has a 98 Regal LS with 100K miles. Buick replaced the pan gasket under warranty three times, but we still get a leak the size of a quarter after the car sits all night. I would not pay $700 to replace it. It is cheaper to buy oil. For what its worth my 2001 Regal LS company car went 75K miles without the pan gasket leaking.

Pulsating brakes

Can some one help. I have a 2001 Buick Regal ls with 36,000 miles. This problem started about a month ago. My brakes would pulsate every time I applied the brakes, more so at high speeds. I had the front rotors turned down at a local Auto parts store, the pulsating went away slightly. Today I changed the pads, there was no difference. I'm puzzled, does any one have any idea ...
