The transmission is leaking fluid into my engine, because nothing is visible underneath the car and I have to keep adding fluid and getting it serviced, so i replaced the pan gasket worked for 2 months then started leaking again but not at the pan up towards the motor sometimes causing white smoke to come out of my exhaust pipe. I've owned both the Buick Century(1994 wagon with the 3.1 engine) and currently a 1999 Regal LS (with the 3.8 engine) The Century was quick off the line, but solely lacked the muscle when it came to highway merging and passing. Anything over 45mph was a chore. The Regal 's 3.8 200 hp engine is much stronger...has all the power I would ever need. That said, it has recently developed a ... Read More

Then it quit again. Troubleshooting revealed that there was no spark. He replaced the crank sensor and ignition module, but this didn't fix the problem. He suspects that there might be a problem ... Since your Regal LS was one year old when you got it I'm guessing the tranny suffered some serious abuse before you purchased it.They just dont have a history of going bad but everyone builds a lemon now and then.We just bought a 2000 Regal LS program car with 18,000 miles that came from Alamo Rental and we worry if it had been abused as some rental cars sure are.I believe ... However the rear spark plugs require that the air cleaner be disconnected and the engine rotated forward and locked in place which makes it easy to remove and install the rear ... Read More
