Quality Control At Buick Lacking
By Ralph Lechner on
Vehicle2007 Buick Lucerne CXL V6 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)
ReviewShortly after taking possesion of our Lucerne, we noticed that the headliner in the front right section was sagging. Dealer inspected the problem and said the headliner had to be replaced since the warp in the headliner could not be repaired. It was also noticed that the headliner felt had "raw",or frayed, and exposed edges both in the front and rear. Certainly, not a very finished look. To replace the headliner the dealership had to remove and replace the front windshield to enable them to get the new headliner into to car.
Best FeaturesHave not had enough time to properly evaluate the overall features of the vehicle, but do like the design features.
Worst FeaturesGM assembly plants appear to need a review of their quality control procedures. The problem with my car should have been detected and corrected at the factory and not by the dealer. In the process of replacing the headliner, the felt was scuffed and several electrical connections were not made.
