Hello, all I have a delightful 2004 LeSabre Limited with 67K miles, and it is very close to time to put new tires on her....need a set of 225/60R16 I have been reasonably satisifed with the stock Michelin Symmetry tires that came with the car, but I am open to other options. My Buick gets around 24-26MPG, and I'd like to stay there with a comfy ride. I have read excellent ... Read More

This site and Buick will be hearing of this problem a lot more as the years move on. I have a 2004 LeSabre and most of the steering wheel lights are now out as well as some in the Climate Control and Radio. Others tell me of the same problem. The lights are accessible in the wheel but not easily. A paint can lid lifter works well to pry the assemble ... Read More

Well, the good news is that the problem was fixed. The better news is that we found a 2004 Civic for our daughter and sold the Buick, in running condition and ok. Turns out the problem was two fold, with the coil (I think) being the first - the NAPA part works for all cars except the '91, where there are issues. While that 'bad' part was in the car, our ... • Got Replacements free for rusted 2004 chrome wheels

Written by: fltcoils on Oct 17, 2006 5:53:52 PM

A few months ago I posted a concern that the chrome wheels had rusted on my 2004 celebration edition lesabre limited. Buick has replaced them, free of charge, so I am very happy. Now I can put those final 150 miles on the car and pass 36000. And wax my wheels. Have I said the engineering of the Lesabre (and Century) powertrain is exceptional? It is. I greatly appreciate the low ... Read More

    Written by: wbret8 on Aug 6, 2006 9:25:26 PM

Hello, I'm new to this and also ignorant to most car issues so I thought I'd spring this on you folks... I have just had my second incident with my car and its headlights. They are supposed to illuminate when the car is turned on to either the DRL's or the Low Beam Headlights, which ever the car's sensor determines (so I'm told). The first time this occurred (about 3 weeks ... Read More

I have a 2004 Buick LeSabre with the same problem. I have been to the dealer again and again. Sometimes they tell us we are nuts, there is no problem; sometimes an honest technician says, yeah, this car has that problem and we don't know how to fix it. They have even tried new Michelin tires. I have initiated a Lemon Law complaint with our state attorney general's office. BBB Autoline ... Read More

  • 2004 LeSabre - Cabin Air Filter

Simple question I think: Where is the cabin air filter located in a 2004 Buick LeSabre Custom? Also, is it easy to activate the turn lights (not turn signals) when the lights seem to be there in the headlight group?

You are under warranty I assume. TAke it back to your dealer for them to Road Force Balance the wheels and tires on a Hunter 9700 balancer. This will eliminate variations in the sponginess in the tire at different points on the tire. I could be a defective tire. It could be a bent wheel. I could be just a plain out of balance tire. It could be alignment is off ... Read More

What brand and which tire is on the car. What size are your wheels? Have the tires been force-balanced on a Hunter 9700 balancer? The dealer should have one. How many miles are on the car?

I did take it back to Michael Hohl Motors in Carson City, Nevada TWICE and they have balanced 2 times, rotated 1 time the tires with no success. The factory rep came out and said nothing was wrong with the vehicle so there is nothingto fix. She said it is the characteristics of the vehicle. Hello, I am about to buy a '98 LeSabre - the car is in great shape and has only 55K miles on it. I've been reading here about all the suggestions and preventative measures other owners are taking but I'm a bit confused about the recall issued in Feb. of 2004 - http://www.automotive.com/1998/49/buick/lesabre/recalls/34513.html. Is this recall to address the plastic plenum problem I've read about? Thanks!

I am thinking of purching a 2004 Buick LeSabre limited. The list price is about $34,000. With today's factory discounts what is a fair price to pay for the vehicle here in the Boston area.

Bought my LeSabre in 2000, and it has been trouble free. Just want to comment that Buick really needs to do something yearly to physically set the new models apart from the older. My 2000 looks just like the 2004 and that is not the way to encourage new buyers. Look at the Century, it went to that body style in 1997 and it is still the same for 2004. Regal ... Read More
