When its blowing hot, you should see that the AC compressor is not turning. I think its the high pressure AC sensor. When its not working, try taping/hitting the switch (ask some mechanic to show you where it is, should be on the AC high pressure line near the compressor). Wondering if you found solution to your AC problem? I have a 2003 LeSabre with same problem. Car only has 15,000 miles on it. The AC worked great when I bought it in April 2008, About 2 weeks ago, the AC started blowing hot and cold intermittently. Had the system checked and fully recharged - they can't find anything. Unlike your blower being intermittent, my AC blower always works, the air is just sometimes warm. I figured out it must be the AC high pressure switch that's the problem. When it wasn't cold, just tapped the switch and it started to blow cold. So I have to replace the switch in the high pressure line. I think its about a $20 part from the dealer. Read More...

Any luck with this problem. i have a 97 doing the exact same thing. Blower motor runs great when you start it up. Turn the car off and on and the blower with not come on. Very intermittent. I also believe it is a senor/ground. It is driving me nuts. thanks, bill Read More...

My AC is not blowing cold on my 2003 Buick LeSabre Limited. It was intermittent about 1 month ago and now has just stopped all together. Also, the blue light on the temp dash control is now out but the red light still works. Further, the lights on the dash fan control now don't work either. Could it be a bad electronic dash AC control panel or a freon leak? Any ideas? Thanks. Read More...

Could be broken heater wire in one of the three element padds in the seat. Could also be the box under the seat that controls the power to the seat when the switch on the door calls for heat. If you are doing it yourself oriented, I read about people switching the boxes from passenger seat and driver seat to diagnose that as the possible cause. However many people have ... Read More...
