You either have a blower motor that is not making contact or has gone bad or the other possibility is the blower control module which is the electonics that controls the blower motor speed. Right now we are using gas with ethanol in it. 85 Octane 18mpg City, 29 Hwy (Foothills) 31 (Flat) Car does NOT like this gas, it runs really rough on cold mornings with this fuel. 88 Octane 21mpg City, 31 Hwy (Foothills) 34(Flat). This morning I had the service engine light come on - when I got home I hooked up my OBD 2 meter to the port and no codes showed. So I think I set one in the DTC computer. I have never had to access those codes. My Cadillac I hit a combination of on/off and scroll button up and the computer codes are seen on the speedometer display. hi 45bob57 i also have a 2000 buick lesabre that i have changed 7 motors and or regulators at present i have 3 of my windows wired up because i refused to spend any more money on these windows i did ask a dealer about a recall and was told there were none. if you have any info to share i would appreciate it. also my dash board is separating from the window. thanks stacyg Read More...

I have a 2000 la sabre limited, 170,000 miles. Great running car. With the rear windows, you can hear the motors run but nothing happens with the windows. Is this the regulator, cable, or what? Also, how difficult to fix? Additionally, my steering wheel lights do not work. I can get the switches out of the steering wheel but the lights look like little blue LED lights ... Read More...

Sounds like a bad starter wire connection to me. Sometimes if you clean all the connections and add a little grease they start better. Clean both the battery posts as well and add some grease there too. Finally, if that is not it, you could have a blown head gasket. As it heats up it expands and may be allowing coolant into a cylinder which will make it run rough or not ... Read More...
