The window regulators were terrible, but if you ever have a problem again simply order a 3rd party window regulator (that will NOT break!) on rockauto.com for $50 and you should be able to find someone who will install it for another $50. That's a lot cheaper than $250-350 for the AC Delco part.... $500 is a bit high unless you live in a large city where hourly rates are high, and even then it's high. I had a 2000 lesabre, changed the oil every 5k, got new brakes and rotors and tires and a battery. We finally got rid of the car with 160k because we never fixed a couple windows and the interior got moldy and smelly, but in retrospect it would have been wise to fix them. Quite simply, the cars reliability far outweighs the bad window regulators. Oh and did I mention I'd get 40mph on trips using cruise control too?Report it
