Re: Front Left Pillar Poor Visibility & Blind Spot [gregg_vw]

I'm old enough to have owned over 30 cars and fortunate to be able buy any car in production. So I do have lot's of experience with visibility and 'A' pillars. The LaCrosse's visibility issue is a matter of personal safety. If you read enough reviews, the visibility issue stands out. Unfortunately I didn't believe the reviews and I tried for almost 6 weeks to adjust ... Read More...

"......I have been averaging just over 20mpg in mixed driving. Not bad, not great. " I would say over 20 in mixed driving is great, relatively speaking (a 4600 lb, 8 passenger CUV). I hope you are positively extatic w/ the Enclave. I tried to get my wife in one, but she won't give up her Rainier I bought the Lacrosse in August. The next week, a golf tourney. What a STRUGGLE ... New 2010 LaCrosse AWD

Hi, Bronsonb, We are looking at a new LaCrosse AWD for my folks. We test-drove the car and everyone (including my 20-yo son) loved it -- rode better than my Lexus and had all the bells and whistles. Very impressive. We haven't done a final negotiation, but according to the dealer the "bottom line" for the car, which has everything except nav, is about $34,000. MSRP ... Read More...

Re: #1 of 1 2010 Buick LaCrosse [ggeeoo]

I waited for months for the 2010 LaCrosse to hit my dealership. I was locked and loaded to buy one. Then I tried putting my golf clubs and pull cart in the trunk. They would not fit without dropping the back seat, making it in effect a 2 passenger car. Thats when I bought a 2010 Enclave. I'll never run out of cargo space again. I can put 4 people and 4 golf clubs and luggage ... Read More...

Re: #1 of 1 2010 Buick LaCrosse [imidazol97]

I personally have a '09 Lacrosse with the so called "bench" seat...It has plenty of lateral support compared to the old sofa style bench seats of yore!! My first car was a 1975 Buick Regal with a soft cushy bench with NO lateral support!! It was like sitting on your living room sofa!! My Lacrosse is NOTHING like that!! BUT, I presume the regular bucket type seats are ... Read More...

>seats are being phased out totally Thank you for pointing that out. And that doesn't sound like an excuse because I can see the physics involved in having the airbags work based on lateral positioning being consistent. I'll miss the front bench seats. Read More...
