Not sure if this article is an insult or a compliment but here goes. TrueCar.com compiled a list of the top brands purchased by seniors in 2009 and 2010, by percentage of buyers. Topping the list of brands were Buick, Lincoln and Cadillac. The survey shows that 58.9% of LaCrosse buyers were seniors. Although it has been gaining buyers in all segments, Buick leads all brands in the percentage of senior buyers, ... Read More
I have a 2009 Buick Lacrosse - CXL, I think. The radio has CD (but no mp3 input jack), Sat, AM and FM. We have the radio controls on the steering yoke as well as on the center stack. The radio was working fine up until a day ago - The display has gone blank and the radio controls on the center stack (with the exception of the on-off switch) no ... Read More
Comparing the 2009 Lacrosse sales to the 2010 sales is laughable, they only made a few 2009 Lacrosse's because the 2010 was coming out...The 2009 production was stopped early, which I know because I was in the market for one and not many were available...It's disappointing to see the sales dropping on the new Lacrosse, it would be interesting to see which cars are gaining sales in it's category also....

Sales of GM's Buick LaCrosse saw the largest percentage increase of all locally produced vehicles, with 4,432 delivered in October, up 37.3 percent from 3,073 in October 2009. (Source: Kansas City Business Journal )
I don't usually reply to my own posts but after Googling around a bit I found this interesting exchange link title in the Enclave section of the Buick threads in this town hall forum. I would have thought that Buick would have corrected by now what is reported there in 2008 and 2009 model year vehicles. The descriptions of downshifting, etc. are very similar to what I have been experiencing. Has anyone ... Read More
I heard lacrosse is a huge sale for buick, three to four time more than Lacrosse 2009 (obviously, since it is such a beautiful and nice car). I try to find this information from the web, but can not find it. Even how many lacrosse sold per quarter. Can you send me the link to the website? or is it from magazine?
In writing about the Lacrosse on 08/17/2010 Charles Krome wrote: "The end result, of course, has been staggering. July sales of the LaCrosse were up 362.3 percent, driving up its year-to-date performance to a 228.3 percent increase over the first seven months of 2009. And at this stage, the volumes for the LaCrosse are really starting to pile up. Last month sales crested the 7,000-unit mark, hitting 7,047 to be exact. ... Read More
I totally agree that GM/Buick is really falling down on the support. TOO busy dreaming up ideas on what to call a CHEVY! LOL What about the wheel locks for the LaCrosse CXS 2010? I have been waiting since October 2009 to get a resolution on this one. Small minor things are the things that people get discussed about. GM - quit changing management and just let them do their jobs. ... Read More
I had my 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXS since Oct 2009 and only have 1373 miles on it. I had it in my garage since Sunday with the Alarm set (blinking red light on Dash.) This morning I went out to start the car and it was battery dead. It has been in the 20s for the past days. I am in the process of charging the battery and after a slow ... Read More
Lol your analogy at end of your message made me laugh so hard, I am still cracking up. It reminds something of my personal life. Anyway, I sometimes ask myself - do we need all these sophisticated cars at all? All we need are reliable and safe cars with bare minimum electronics- the cars that can be fixed by any roadside mechanic. I have Honda Accord 2009 and am very happy ... Read More
I bought the 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXS White Diamond TriColor late Oct 2009 and found exactly what I was looking for. It only took me 2 days to find the dealer who found the car I wanted. Did not want to wait weeks or more for delivery. I guess I just lucked out. Very satisfied with the car and would not trade it for anything else. Did a lot of research ... Read More
Does anyone have accurate information as to how many 2008 and 2009 Buick LaCrosse Supers were produced? Thanks!
Let's wind the clock back 30 years to 1979. Say a new car had a Monroney sticker price of $9,000 which was about average then for a full-size sedan. The invoice price at that time was typically 11-12% below sticker on full-size cars or about $8,000. That $1,000 difference was ALL the dealer had to make a profit with. You couldn't buy the car for "invoice" then because that left nothing ... Read More

Personally, I like the rear of the TL but the front is a deal breaker for me. Yes, I prefer the 2010 LaCrosse any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I was just watching videos of the 2010 LaCrosse and the Opel Insignia of which it is based. The Insignia won best new car of 2009 in Europe. It also comes in a wagon (Sport Tourer), similar to what ... Read More

I'll tell what I learned for my RDS radio in my 03 leSabre Limited. You make your settings on a station and then hold the button for that station for 5 seconds or so. It will beep which indicates it has learned that setting to be applied to that station. I hope this helps! it's a great radio with good speakers for my purposes. Some of the stations are flame-throwers nearby ... Read More
I need to know how to "save" the tone settings on my Buick radio. I change them but they never stay at the settings, I have chosen. The owners manual is vague, How do I "save" my settings so I don't have to keep changing them?
Hello, Thinking of purchasing a new 2009 Buick LaCrosse. Re the On-Star system. Seems awfully pricey (after the first year) Also seems like a regular in dash GPS for a few hundred $ makes a lot more sense, as it would give visuals re roads, etc. rather than apparently just text or voice prompts. Am I missing something with this On-Star business ? However, there doesn't seem to be any place ... Read More
Hi, Want to buy a new 2009 LaCrosse. Went to our local Buick dealer to pick up a brochure and some color sheets to show wife who isn't able to shop around with me due to medical restraints. I am interested in buying a 2008 or a 2009 (when they come out) Buick Lacrosse CXL with Leather and Driver Package and Chrome wheels and I was wondering about the CXL's 6 speaker CD player radio that comes with the model. Does is sound really nice or would I be better to get the upgraded 9 speaker radio? Thanks
The are already several used Supers available by searching www.cars.com nationally. You would receive a great deal as someone else (rental company most likely) has eaten the initial cost. I love my 2006 CXS very much. That said. Check out the Invicta concept which will be very close to the production LaCrosse next Spring. If you ride is not falling apart. It may be best to wait another year. http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f63/beijing-buick-invicta-concept-revealed-63- 433/ ... Read More

The salesperson also told me that the head of the dealership said that I ... Read More

Yeah it is a shame on the Aux input. I finally bought the Zune and some Bose QC2 headphones to keep my sanity as my job is now requiring lots of airline travel for business. I have high expections for the Epsilon II LaCrosse coming out in 2009/2010. I am expecting to replace this car with another Buick if it continues to meet my expectations.
http://jalopnik.com/cars/spy-photos/2010-buick-lacrosse-304363.php New Epsilon II chassis version on the way. Product to begin in early 2009. Looks promising.
