If you say it has zero pick up and it's getting 16-18 mpg when it should be around 22, it sounds like it's working harder than it has to almost like a parking brake was partially on or something. Definitely have it looked at because the 3.8 V6 is a good engine (one of the few out of GM) and you should see better than 21 mpg fuel economy and better acceleration.Report it
