AC and Heating problems...
Written by: jdkoren on Nov 24, 2012 3:20:41 PM
I haven't read through most of the thread but I'm sure we are all sharing the same problems as far as our electrical, AC, heating with the Buick Enclave. We own the 2011 Buick Enclave and during the summer months the AC blows in the front but in the back it blows out heat onto my child. I had no idea this was happening until one day I sat in the ... The invoice also states that the customer requested a multi-point inspection, which I never did. An added service? Perhaps, but it seems they didn't notice that the bottoms of the door mouldings for both front doors, 'attached' to the front of the rear doors, are dangling loose. This wasn't noticed when changing the door lock solenoid inside the front driver's door. How effective is this inspection when items like this aren't ... Read More

I'm having the same issues - ALL of them - on my 2008 Enclave with approx 31k miles. AC: I had the same AC blower issue in 2011 - it was fixed by the dealer. Believed to be a potential electrical issue Fuel Pump: The car stopped working yesterday where it would stall and not start back up. Gas, oil, battery are all good. It's in the shop now and believed ... Read More

2011 Buick Enclave AC Issue
Written by: jhumphrey on Dec 1, 2011 10:16:30 AM
2011 Buick Enclave air compressor allegedly (claimed by dealership) failed - by a rock or other road hazard flying into the engine compartment striking and ruputuring the compressor. Repair costs estimated in excess of $900.00 Has anyone else expereinced this or do you think as I do that this alleged cause lacks credability... sort of like the magic bullet hypothesis.

I just found this site as I was researching a problem with my AC that I was having with my 2008 Buick Enclave CXL. I have had the same issues as many of you have noted, especially rjluke(post # 107). This has been the most expensive purchase I have made for a car! I bought it used Feb 2011. 2 weeks after purchase, our fuel pump went out. Then I had ... Read More

I also have a 2008 Buick Enclave that I purchased used with 31,000 miles in 2011. I was assured it was a certified used car. I have had nothing but problems with it starting at about 40,000 miles with the steering column squeaking real bad. What has been my most expensive car purchase in my life has been the mistake of my life. Thank God I purchased an extended warranty, because ... Read More

Hi Erin. I definitely think that you can do better than this. General Motors is currently providing a $1,600 cash incentive on leases of the 2011 Buick Enclave through U.S. Bank. That's right around the discount that you were given. That means that the dealer is essentially selling you this truck at full MSRP. If I was in the market for one right now, I personally would want toms sort of ... Read More

Hi koko19. General Motors' normal consumer cash incentives are not compatible with its special lease program. Having said that GM often has special cash incentives that are good on leases only. In fact, GM's lease cash on the 2011 Buick Enclave is $2,500 (through 11/1)...even more than its consumer cash. Make sure to take this cash into account during your negotiations. GM is scheduled to introduce its new November programs some ... Read More

Hi koko19. I just crunched some numbers for you and according to my calculations if you were to lease a 2011 Buick Enclave CXL AWD that has an MSRP of $45,950 and a selling price of $40,700 through Ally right now for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment would be around $594. Hello lfranco1. Ally's current base lease rate and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2011 Buick Enclave CXL-1 AWD with 15,000 miles per year are 2.9% and 44%, respectively. As you can see, Ally (formerly known as GMAC) publishes lease rates instead of money factors for vehicles. You can convert its published lease rates into approximate money factor equivalents by dividing them by 2400. It is much more ... Read More

Edmunds has the invoice price at $42,964.70. Looking for a 36 month (12K miles per year) lease with no cap reduction (no money down). Can I assume that the residual is around 36%-38%. No clue ... Jbiz, What base lease rate and residual value were you quoted with your lease offer on the Enclave? I am looking to lease a 2011 Buick Enclave CXL for 36 months. I would like to compare your numbers with the values Car_man stated in an earlier post. I want to make sure I have the right numbers before I start making my lease proposal. Thanks James
